Jay-Z’s hometown hero status was further solidified recently, as Hov-inspired changes to a local library.
The Brooklyn Public Library’s Central branch got a makeover this week, with a new exterior meant to look like a newspaper article. The design features lyrics from a number of Jay-Z’s songs including "Hovi Baby,” “Sweet,” and “Encore.” The redesign coincides with the debut of a new exhibit honoring Mr. Carter and his work.
