Lots of people are preparing for the eclipse, whether it's making sure you've got your Nasa approved glasses, attending a viewing party, or making sure you're stocked up so you won't have to leave the house that day. But are you ready for paranormal activity? Specifically in South Carolina, are you ready for a Lizardman sighting?
Clearly it's a tongue in cheek, but the South Carolina Emergency Management Division tweeted out a map of Lizardman sightings within the Eclipse Path and warned residents to remain ever vigilant.
I love how involved everyone is getting with this eclipse. It makes it fun for children and families, and who knows if one of the kids watching on August 21 will grow up to be a future astronaut.
