- One person on the call described Trump as "unhinged." That sounds about right.
- It's like he's learned nothing from the coronavirus. He just wants everything to get better without looking at how it went so wrong.
- Governors do need to crack down on bad actors who are taking advantage of the situation to stir the pot or to steal things.
- This was going on while Joe Biden was at a black church in Delaware listening to community leaders.
President Trump isn't backing away from his stance on protests -- not even when talking to the nation's governors.
On a conference call this morning (Monday), Trump lambasted governors for not cracking down on looters and vandals. He said, "It's happened numerous times. And the only time it's successful is when you're weak. And most of you are weak."
He also urged them "to dominate, if you don't dominate you're wasting your time. They're going to run over you. You're going to look like a bunch of jerks. You have to dominate." (CBS News)
