SZA's Back With A New Video!

SZA's new single “Shirt” comes with a video starring LaKeith Stanfield.

The video finds SZA at dinner with Stanfield.

Inspired by the restaurant scene from Belly, SZA’s is interrupted by a third person at the table who LaKeith slaps.

It’s been over five years since SZA’s Ctrl, but the wait for a new album looks to be over.

SZA was tapped to star in Eddie Huang’s Tuna Melt with retired porn star Chloe Cherry.

the film follows a hitman, played by Huang in the middle of a breakup when he meets the love of his life. SZA is playing Eddie’s love interest, and shared a post about her excitement over her first acting gig.

“Can’t believe I got the part I wanted. She’s an actress,” she wrote on her Instagram Story.

Huang previously directed Boogie, which he tapped the late Pop Smoke.

Doechii and SZA join forces on the remix of “Persuasive!”

released via Top Dawg Entertainment/Capitol Records.

Doechii brokeout with an impressive 2021 from her viral TikTok song “Yucky Blucky Fruitcake” and a feature on “Wat U Sed” from Isaiah Rashad’s The House Is Burning LP.

Five years ago SZA dropped Ctrl and ever since fans have been clamoring for her sophomore album.

There's no release date for her next album, but SZA did celebrate the 5-year anniversary of Ctrl with a deluxe version, which features 7 new songs

Sza teased the new tracks on Twitter,

"Unreleased songs from 2017 to celebrate 5 .. me thinks." The next day she clarified, "Everything made in 2014-2016 /17… not new lol to be absolutely clear."

SZA was in the studio working with Bree Runway, which got fans excited for new music, as she shared that the new album was done and fans could expect it soon.

Back in October, SZA shut down the rumor that she planned on releasing her record on the same day that Summer Walker delivered Still Over It. She didn't give any news about a release date, but while strutting on the 2022 Met Gala red carpet she dropped a massive hint.

"ready to go, more than I've ever felt before," she told Vogue. "So, this summer, it'll be like a...it'll be a SZA Summer."

Last year she suggested that she made have been locking horns with her label about what to release, but now it seems she's gotten back on track.

"This album is going to be the sh*t that made me feel something in my...here and in here,” she said. "I’m making all different types of sh*t every day from different places in my spirit.”
