Trump Baby Blimp Coming to America Thanks to GoFundMe Campaign

Trump Baby Balloon coming to America

The Trump Baby Blimp that made waves while hovering over massive protests in London during President Donald Trump's first official visit to the United Kingdom will make his stateside debut thanks to a GoFundMe page that raised more than $7,200 in less than two days.

Activist Didier Jimenez-Castro of Hillsborough, New Jersey joined with some other local organizers to create the page and raise money to bring the sneering, tiny-handed blimp across the pond.

"I got together with local organizers and we agreed we need to bring Baby Trump to Bedminster where he plays golf on the regular," the activist wrote on the page

The fundraising goal was set at $4,500, but blew past that in less than 22 hours. Jimenez-Castro told the Courier News that he has contacted the manufacturer of the Trump Baby Blimp, and they will have their balloon by mid-August.

The first Trump Baby Balloon was also created thanks to a fundraising page.

“Donald Trump is a big, angry baby with a fragile ego and tiny hands,” the blimp’s fundraising page reads. “We want to make sure he knows that all of Britain is looking down on him and laughing at him.”

The Trump Baby Blimp appears to be a popular way for protesters to express their displeasure for the 45th president and his policies. Crowdfunding campaigns across the country have been started in areas like Silver Spring, Maryland, Austin, Texas, St. Louis, Missouri, and Farmington, New Mexico.
